Miss Khristina is an award winning choreographer and teacher. For over 20 years, she has trained dancers of all levels in ballet, jazz, tap, acro, contemporary, musical theatre and lyrical. She has taught at studios in Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke and Vaughan.
Beginning her dance training at the age of two, Miss Khristina has danced competitively throughout Canada and the US. Her love of dance developed over the years and she has decided to share her passion with others through teaching and performing.
A Registered Teacher with the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance), Miss Khristina has trained and prepared students for the successful completion of ballet exams from Grade 1 to Solo Seal. She is a member of the BATD (British Association of Teachers of Dancing) and is a certified teacher of the Acrobatic Arts. Her excellent classical training gives her students the technical foundation required to excel in all styles of dance. She is proud that many of her students have gone on to careers as professional dancers and teachers.
Staying current with trends in the industry is important to Miss Khristina. For the past 8 years she has performed as a member of the What’s On Tap dance company and she enjoys furthering her dance education through workshops and courses. Miss Khristina has choreographed audition pieces for students attending high school and university dance programs. She has also accompanied students to Los Angeles for the Hollywood Summer Tour Kidz, a series of workshops preparing students for careers as professional dancers, and to the World Showdance Championship in Prague.
Building trust is key to Miss Khristina’s successes as a teacher. She cares about her students both personally and as dancers. Her classes are positive and encouraging and she loves seeing her students develop to their full potential.
